Program Completers

The following are the requirements for a student to earn a Santa Maria FFA Program Completer Medallion to be worn at graduation. Students are considered program completers if the following criteria are met by April 1st of their graduation year. FFA Medallions will be awarded to students at the Annual FFA Awards Banquet.

1.    Class Enrollment – Students must have completed 3 or 4 consecutive years of an agriculture course and must be in an agricultural course during their senior year. 

                             - 2.0 or better GPA is required

                             - Student must pass their Agriculture Course or could have retaken and then passed the course                                  to count as completed

2.    SAE Project – Students must have the following recorded in their AET 

                              - Have at least 1 SAE project per year

                              - Completed a minimum of 65 hours toward their SAE project during their time in the                                                   agriculture program

​

3.    FFA Activities – Students must have the following recorded in their AET during their time in the agriculture program
                            - Minimum of 25 FFA Activities including 2 activities above the chapter level

                            - Minimum of 5 Community Service activities or hours

4.    AET – Student must complete the “Survey of Education and Career Plans” in AET

​

5.    Program Completer Application – The student must apply for the FFA Medallion by completing the “Program Completer Application" below
